Secure, charged and ready to go
The Hublet Dock provides a completely secure space for your Hublet Tablets to be displayed, charged and data wiped (on return) in a package that is incredibly small in footprint. The Dock is available as a free-standing unit that can be positioned anywhere in your facility.
Unlike regular tablet solutions that require staff to set up and configure the device, arrange for loans and erase all the content on return, the Hublet Dock handles all of this for you. In just four simple steps, your customers can borrow, use and return the device without a single interaction with any member of staff.

Self-service in 4 simple steps

Step 1 … Scan your card
The Hublet Dock keeps every Hublet Tablet secure and fully charged when not in use.
To loan a device, the customer simply scans their membership card (if used within a library) or a QR code, presents an RFID card or wristband, swipes a magnetic card or selects a tablet using a user ID and PIN entered on the touchscreen.
Once the user has been validated, one of the tablets is unlocked and a green light indicates which can be removed.
Step 2 … Remove a tablet
The green light means the tablet is ready to be removed from the Hublet Dock. It’s as simple as grabbing the large handle on the top and pulling it out of the slot. As soon as the device is removed, it will automatically connect to your WiFi network and be in a completely clean state, ready for use.

Step 3 … Enjoy a wealth of content
All of the content on a Hublet Tablet is controlled by you, with digital editions of books, magazines, podcasts and audio all provided by your chosen content provider. In addition, you can choose to add apps from the Google Play Store that you wish to be made available to your users.
This pre-authorisation of content is a critical part of the entire Hublet Solution, allowing your team to establish what content is available for a particular audience. For example, you can choose particular books, magazines and apps suitable for children, slightly different content for teenagers and a completely alternative catalogue for adult readers – the scope is entirely up to you.
Step 4 … Replace when finished
As soon as the loan period has expired (or before), the tablet is simply dropped back into an available space on the Hublet Dock, where it is then connected to the charging system, locked in placed and securely wiped, ready for the next user. During the wiping process:
- All browsing history is removed
- Passwords are erased
- Personal data is wiped
- Downloaded content is erased

Stay safe with Fotonit coating
Every Hublet Tablet and the screen of Hublet Dock is sprayed with a special self-disinfecting Fotonit photocatalytic coating at the point of production. This special solution protects the devices and those that use them by using regular light to destroy viruses, bacteria, mould spores and more.
Available in 3 or 6 tablet variants
The Hublet Dock is available in two versions that can accommodate either 3 or 6 tablets, depending on your requirements. Both units are exactly the same size and can be ordered as a free-standing unit.
