Hublet, Ristech and PressReader Bring Educational Revolution to Melody School, Guatemala
17 March 2025, Helsinki, Finland - Hublet, Ristech and PressReader are bringing digital learning to the Melody School in Guatemala, an institution dedicated to helping Mayan children access quality education. This project is more than a technology donation - it’s about giving students the tools to learn, grow, and build a better future. With the tablets now in place, the school has a valuable resource to support learning and expand education opportunities.
As part of this charity project, Ristech contributed the tablets, Hublet delivered both protective covers and its cloud-based tablet management solution, while PressReader granted free access licenses to their extensive content platform. This integration allows students and teachers to access a wide range of educational resources, enhancing the school's ability to teach core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English, as well as supplement their curriculum with trusted online materials.

The Melody School, which currently serves 75 students aged 3 to 18, follows the Guatemalan Government's standard curriculum while also integrating additional digital resources. The students are divided into three different age groups, each benefiting from Hublet Profiles that personalise learning materials to their needs. While Kaqchikel is the primary language spoken by the students, Spanish is taught as the official language of Guatemala. With the Hublet Tablets and PressReader App, students can access resources to learn both languages, further supporting their bilingual education.
The tablets arrived in Guatemala by the middle of January, marking a significant milestone in this charitable project.
