The partnership is run with the filmfriend streaming service in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Belgium, and France and with its North American version myfilmfriend, in the United States and Canada. This partnership will benefit libraries across these countries, giving library users free access to digital video content with just their library card.

Through this collaboration, libraries can offer feature and documentary films, series, short films and a diverse range of children's programming, all easily accessible through the filmfriend/myfilmfriend app on Hublet Tablets. With the personalised profiles of Hublet Solution, libraries can introduce this streaming service to dedicated users. The editorially managed service is free of charge and ads for library users and does not collect personal data.
